Photo tour schedule

We will compile the exact daily program on site at short notice, in order to be able to respond to the respective weather and light conditions. The daily schedule will be approximately as follows:

• Daily photo session in the morning (sunrise, golden hour)
• Breakfast at our B&B
• Depending on the weather further excursions to beautiful photo locations
• Lunch as picnic on the way as well as a break / time for free disposal in between.
• Daily photo session in the afternoon / evening (golden hour, sunset, blue hour)
• Dinner together in the restaurant (included)
• If required / if time available / on request also picture reviews, picture editing etc. (e.g. in case of bad weather).

Climate

The Slovenian Alps have a typical alpine/mountain climate. January and February are usually the two coldest months of the year. We have deliberately set the travel time to the end of January in order to have the greatest possible chance of seeing wonderfully snow-covered winter landscapes. Depending on the temperatures, the mood changes from snowy valleys and frozen lakes to mystical foggy landscapes. Often there are also great frost formations in the landscape or on the trees in the early morning. If there is no snow in the lowlands, we will travel to higher elevations to photograph the winter scenery. Temperatures can range from -15°C to 0°C in January.

Fitness Level

Fitness level This tour is outdoor oriented and we will spend a lot of time in the nature. It is recommended to be reasonably fit to appreciate everything th region has to offer. There may be a limited amount of uphill walking. The workshop is rated with moderate difficulty.

Clothing

Bring outdoor, weather resistant clothing and shoes. Also warms clothes for cold mornings are recommended.

Double room

Single travellers can book half of a double room. If there is no other guest who wants to share the room, the single room surcharge will apply.

Entry requirements Slovenia

EU citizens need a valid identity card or passport to enter Slovenia. The documents must be valid until the end of the trip.
