The photo workshop at wildlife park Goldau was a real highlight for me. I have rarely experienced a course where you learn so much in such a short time – all in a relaxed, motivating atmosphere surrounded by nature. I especially appreciated the perfect blend of minimal theory and maximum practical application. After setting up the optimal camera settings for wildlife photography, we went straight to the animals, where we received incredibly valuable, practical tips. Ralf met us exactly where we were at and guided us to significantly better results.

A trip full of highlights! We had the privilege of experiencing many extraordinary moments with the animals. There was the elephant standing on its hind legs, plucking branches from a tree, there were the three lion cubs we watched frolicking about, the leopard mother playing with her cub, the eleven young wild dogs being fed by the adults, and much more. The food in the wonderful lodges with their attentive staff was also a highlight!

The workshop was a fantastic experience, and I felt perfectly supported and guided. The theoretical input was very engaging and informative. The practical part was varied and also very well supervised. The instructor has a palpable passion for photography, which he conveyed throughout the entire course.

The day at the wildlife park was fantastic. Ralf has a friendly and easygoing manner. I would definitely book more photo workshops led by him. Seeing so many animals, including the young lynxes, made the day perfect.

The bear photo tour was a truly special experience for me and exceeded my expectations. The encounters with the bears in their natural habitat were impressive and will stay with me for a long time. I was also particularly impressed by the country itself, the excellent organization, and the diverse itinerary. The photographic support was professional, personal, and very helpful. The Zermatt photo workshop was perfectly organized from start to finish, with two fantastic guides who took ample time to answer all our questions. The tour to Uganda was absolutely fascinating. The itinerary was very varied and very well put together, featuring some truly interesting photographic destinations. Being able to see the chimpanzees and gorillas up close was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The trip was superbly organized, and the accommodations were top-notch. James provided us with excellent support in every way.

The photo workshop was a highlight for me. The excellent organization, the top-notch photo locations, and the knowledgeable photo guides really made my photography-loving heart race. I went to bed late and got up early to catch the right light and find the perfect location! But the lack of sleep was worth it - I brought home some great photos.

The week in Slovenia was a complete success. From the various bear hides, we were able to observe many bears in their natural habitat and take wonderful photos. Our days were well-filled, and in addition to bear photography, we got to explore the area and had the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of birds and otters. Demian was a wonderful guide; his photography tips were very helpful, and his friendly demeanor was key to the group getting along so well. Thank you for the exciting experience.

Thank you, Peter Fischer and Amazing Views, for the wonderful days we spent in Provence. The professional guidance and valuable tips on landscape photography - including blending, focus stacking, and HDR - as well as on street photography helped us improve our photography skills. Plus, we were always at great photo spots at just the right time and had plenty of time to set up our equipment and ask questions. We learned a lot, and we will always have fond memories of our trip to Provence.

The nature, biodiversity, and vast forests in Slovenia were simply breathtaking. The program was very varied, and thanks to the various morning excursions, we also got to see some of the surrounding area. The bears made an appearance every day. Everyone involved on site was very friendly and helpful, and they even went out of their way to make us happy. This definitely was not my last trip (by train) to Slovenia.

Seeing the blooming lavender fields of Provence had long been a dream of mine. This tour made it come true. Our photo guide, Peter, brought a wealth of experience and a great sense of humor to the tour, and he always remained in control, even in challenging situations (extreme heat, early lavender harvest). With patience and humor, he led us not only to the most beautiful lavender fields but also to other picturesque towns and scenic highlights of this diverse region. We were even able to photograph the Milky Way at the end of the tour.

It was my first trip to Iceland and I absolutely loved it. The tour was very well organized, and we were able to carry out and achieve all our goals and plans. The hotels were well chosen and impressed in terms of both quality and location. The photo spots were a delight, offering a mix of popular tourist destinations and lesser-known “hidden gems.” Peter Fischer is an excellent photographer and tour guide. It is a lot of fun to have him drive, guide, and instruct you. Peter exudes a sense of calm because he understands the country, photography, and his clients’ wishes so well.

The workshop that pushed me to my limits - and yet I enjoyed every moment of it. What a fantastic area! As always, it was perfectly organized and led, with great participants. And I packed that heavy backpack myself, after all...

What a breathtaking evening at the Drumlins! The location is absolutely stunning, and thanks to our guides Jenny and Ralf, we got some amazing photos. Sure, it was very hot that evening, but luckily there were plenty of refreshments. I highly recommend it!

It was an exciting two weeks. I learned a lot and was able to put my new skills into practice again and again, so they really stuck. We discovered and photographed many beautiful spots. It was a pleasant little group, and the group size of six participants was ideal. Peter is a talented photographer who takes wonderful pictures. He shared his knowledge with us, and he made sure we were in the right spots. As a beginner, he always had good tips for me, and I benefited greatly from the experience.

Amazing Views gave me the opportunity to spend a week high up in the Italian Dolomites - with my camera and at world-class locations! I could never have done that on my own, and I loved being part of a group of eight clients and two tour guides. All I had to do was get up before sunrise and follow the group to the most beautiful spots. During the day, there was plenty of time to rest before the whole thing started all over again at dusk. I can’t thank my tour guides and the other photographers enough for a truly amazing week in the mountains, and I would love to travel with this tour operator again someday.

The workshop was very informative and interesting. The instructor, Thomas, addressed everyone's needs and explained everything patiently. There was also plenty of humor. All in all, a successful and enjoyable day with many impressions of the animals in the park.

A great workshop with plenty of time for each animal, but also enough breaks, especially in the hot weather. The theory was just the right amount and, divided into two sessions, engaging and easy to understand. Our photo guide Thomas, was very patient, and I was able to pick up some additional tips and tricks that have helped me improve my photography.

As passionate wildlife photographers, landscape photography was new territory for us - but Amazing Views made it work perfectly. Thomas and Christina are wonderful guides, the group was fantastic, and the pumas left us speechless. The scenery and photo spots in Patagonia are simply breathtaking. Costa Rica captivated me from day one! The rainforest, the landscape, the nature, and especially the vibrant birdlife, which could not be more diverse. Unfortunately, the birds are very quick and it takes some practice and patience to get the perfect shot. But thanks to Jenny and Paulo, who were always there when we had questions about camera settings, we were all able to return home with many beautiful pictures and memories. Goosebumps! Both during the trip and back home while looking through all the impressive photos! The landscapes are breathtaking, and the animals’ living conditions are truly remarkable. Daisy and David challenged and encouraged us in our photography in just the right way, and the crew spoiled us with their warm hospitality. Everything was perfectly organized. The Svalbard trip with Daisy and the MS Virgo exceeded even my high expectations. Since I had already been to Svalbard, I knew about its magnificent landscape. A trip in April under the midnight sun promises plenty of ice, stunning lighting, and phenomenal wildlife sightings. The guidance provided by the photography team and the expedition crew was impeccable, which maximized our photo opportunities. Simply wonderful!

Peter Fischer knows Iceland like the back of his hand. His expertise in this part of the world means that you will have a more productive and insightful journey, with implications for the images you take home. He was always present and focused on our creative and technical process, ensuring that our questions were answered and any concerns quickly addressed. This was a very enjoyable trip, and I love the pictures I captured, some of which were new visions of old familiar places, e.g. Diamond Beach. Peter is a generous person and fun to travel with - I highly recommend him as your next trip leader!

It was the best photography trip I have ever been on. Everything was perfectly organized. I would especially like to mention the two photographers, Daisy Gilardini and David McEown. The Outer Hebrides photo tour was a truly enriching experience for me. The wild, barren landscape and constantly changing weather allowed us to photograph in exciting light and ever-shifting conditions. Jenny and Nick guided us to the best spots and were always there to offer advice. The accommodation was perfect for this tour and we were also treated to culinary delights featuring local specialties. If you love the rugged north and Atlantic weather, I highly recommend this trip.

The European Bison photography workshop was well organized and the animals cooperated. Demian’s expert explanations and Matthias’s insights about the bison were very interesting. We were a small group of five enthusiastic and considerate photographers. It was a truly wonderful workshop and I would definitely consider participating again.

The photo tour to Lewis & Harris was a wonderful experience in every way! The Outer Hebrides, located in the far northwest of Scotland, are a paradise for landscape photographers with their wild and romantic scenery, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches. We also enjoyed some great food along the way. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves landscape photography and the northern parts of Europe.

Spending the morning with the European bison alongside Demian and Matthias was a wonderful experience. Not only did I learn a lot about the bison, but the many helpful tips and explanations were also very useful for a beginner like me. In particular, the tips on composition, framing, and camera settings really helped me improve. I highly recommend this course—thanks to Demian and Matthias.

It was a successful and interesting day focused on bird photography. We were joined by Hansruedi, a top-notch photographer and a wonderful person. He gave me personally a lot of great tips. The theoretical information was also very interesting and provided many ideas to put into practice.

I had the best time! The photo opportunities were incredible, but it was the staff’s energy and expertise that made it special. They made everything easy and kept us all smiling the whole time. Truly a top-tier experience. I saw the most beautiful landscape in the Lofoten region, plus the most wow northern lights.

I've been to Botswana many times, but never to the Tuli Block. My expectations were exceeded in terms of wildlife (leopards, lions) and landscape after/during the rainy season. Hannes Lochner, both as a person and as a top-notch professional photographer, was a real asset. He knows an enormous amount about African wildlife, their behavior, and how to creatively capture unique moments. The accommodation, the quality of the food, and the dedication of all the camp staff made our stay completely enjoyable. We would love to return. I can highly recommend the Christmas lights workshop in Zürich! After a brief introduction to the settings and theory, we walked through the city. With many valuable tips and tricks, we were able to implement the lighting scenarios very well.

We have already taken many trips with Amazing Views. The Masai Mara Explorer trip fits seamlessly into the other trips. Top quality, great guides, everything perfectly organized. This was our first trip to Africa on safari and we are completely thrilled. The two lodges were a dream! The highlight was the safari drives, both in the morning and in the late afternoon. The vehicles are ideal for photographers. The guides are extremely experienced in the needs of photographers. They know exactly where the ideal spot is to get the best angle and, above all, the best light to capture the scene perfectly. The trip preparation and on-site tour guide service provided by Thomas was perfect, as always with Amazing Views. Between safari drives, he took a lot of time to edit pictures with us and give us tips, and even if you needed assistance during the drives, he always had the right tips for camera settings.

At the time of the photo trip, Cuba was in a very difficult economic situation caused by the island's severe energy shortage. Despite these adverse circumstances, Amazing Views once again managed to deliver an exciting trip without any changes to the itinerary and always in complete safety. If you like street photography and travel photography, this is the place for you. The insight into the culture and, to a lesser extent, the nature of the country left nothing to be desired. The personal contacts our tour guide Peter Fischer has built up over more than 20 trips made this tour a unique experience. Pedro, who makes cigars in his small workshop behind his private room, is just one example. My expectations of the trip were fully met.

The many different Christmas lights in Zürich offer countless photographic opportunities. The two workshop guides showed us many tips and tricks on how to create atmospheric, harmonious and even artistic images of the lighting. The locations were well chosen. After a brief introduction, we had ample time to practice, experiment and ask individual questions. This allowed me to benefit from the instructors' vast expertise. The three different destinations in Botswana offered me countless opportunities to improve my photography skills. As always with Amazing Views, everything was perfectly organized. James provided excellent support and could answer any question I had about camera settings or image editing. Ireland as you imagine it. Rough weather on the coast, but great photos. The mix on this trip leaves nothing to be desired. Coast, waterfalls, moors, lakes, deer, and wonderful forests in the most beautiful colors. Good accommodations, good food, great group. I would love to travel with Amazing Views again.

The last workshop, "Best of Zug," was a real highlight and the day was perfectly tailored to the weather. The combination of Daisy Gilardini and Amazing Views is unbeatable in my experience of photography trips. I have take three trips to Svalbard, Norway, with Daisy and Amazing Views. Each trip is unique, depending on the time of year we traveled, but the trips allowed me to capture incredible polar bear and other Arctic wildlife photographs. From beginning to end, the trips were carefully planned and executed. I came away from Svalbard richer in experience, and with Daisy's help, amazing wildlife photos.

We were always in the right place at the right time and, thanks to Jenny and Ralf's professional guidance, were able to take fantastic photos. The choice of locations was perfectly suited to the weather conditions, and for me, photographing the Milky Way was the highlight of the workshop. Thanks again for your excellent support!

It was a fantastic trip. As always with Amazing Views, the trip was very well organized and everything went smoothly. The accommodations left nothing to be desired. The mix of night photography in the hide, helicopter flights over the lakes near the lodge, and game drives in Mara North offered plenty of variety. We were also very lucky and had at least one highlight every day in terms of sightings. To top it all off, we even had a successful cheetah hunt. What more could you want! James is a very competent photo guide and was always on hand to help us with technical problems and advice on settings.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop in Uri. Jenny and Ralf were very accommodating and always helpful. They kept a close eye on the weather conditions to ensure we were always in the best location. It was a new experience and a challenge for me to take photos from a hide. To wait for hours, to be quiet, to not be able to move. The great thing was that patience paid off. The bears and their cubs did their best to entertain us—with some spine-tingling moments! It was a very informative and exciting workshop. We learned a lot and had the opportunity to try many things out. The workshop guides were very helpful, had excellent expertise, answered every question and helped wherever they could. In the afternoon, we not only covered the theory of photography, but were also shown how to optimally edit photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. We took some fantastic photos under the beautiful starry sky, even though it was a bit chilly and we did get a little tired after a while. The street photography workshop with Jens Krauer was very well organized. The division into a theoretical part and practical exercises at Zurich Central Station, as well as the final image review at the end of the workshop, was excellent. Jens knows how to present the subject matter in a comprehensive and entertaining way. The exercises helped me a lot to forget my fears about being close to people for a moment and to concentrate fully on the subject. The short feedback sessions and teamwork in between brought about changes in my thinking in a short time, which were immediately reflected in my pictures. Thank you, Amazing Views, for another great expert who shared his knowledge in an exciting way and helped me expand my skills!

Hannes Lochner succeeded in alleviating all my concerns about shooting with high ISO values. The result has me thrilled! It was the first time I had ever photographed from hides. What we saw, experienced, and took home with us on our memory cards surpasses everything. Staying overnight in the hides was a special experience. If at all possible, I would like to go on another trip with Hannes soon. His expertise is enormous and his patience seemingly endless. Thank you very much!

Zimanga highly impressed me with its fantastic reserve, the many animals that you can experience up close (especially elephants), and the wonderful lodge with its warm-hearted staff. The hides were a new and fascinating experience, especially the vultures in the morning. And, as always, everything was under the professional and charming leadership of Hannes. The photo trip was excellent and exceeded my expectations.

As usual, a well-organized trip, excellently guided by Hannes Lochner. Magnificent landscapes with stunning color contrasts. On two evenings, we enjoyed an exquisite dinner outdoors under the impressive starry sky. As announced, the nights were very cool, but with appropriate clothing, it was easy to endure the morning game drives and we were able to enjoy many animal and bird sightings.

Great trip! I got what was advertised. And since Sturrall Ridge I know why it is called Photo & Adventure Tours. Spots carefully selected. There is something for everyone, even if you are a bit spoiled like me. The weather was typical for Ireland, but also produced some wonderful pictures. Certainly not my last visit to Ireland. You always get help with photography, and there is plenty of socializing too. I was also able to make lots of new friends, which is always exciting. My trip to the Faroes was amazing. We experienced so many weather systems during our week there, very strong winds, snow and some sunshine. Once you immersed yourself into an ever changing weather situation that is when you got the best photo opportunities. I have never used Amazing Views before but I found them very efficient and professional in my dealing with them for this trip. I have no doubt I will use them again in the future based on my recent trip to the Faroes.

We were rarely dazzled by the sun, but instead we were buffeted by strong winds, hail and sometimes more or less heavy rain. It was intense, varied and sometimes (for me!) challenging. Wonderfully diverse photo subjects were made accessible to us. I look back on this inspiring trip with joy and great satisfaction. A big thank you goes to Jenny and Harry, who tirelessly helped us with advice and suggestions. They also kept an eye on the weather pages to protect us from heavy rain.

The bird photography workshop at Birdlife Center La Sauge is wonderful. The diversity of birds and the kingfisher as a highlight, made for a truly memorable experience. The early bird entry is a fantastic offer. I even saw my first beaver there very early in the morning. The interaction between participants and tour guides was always friendly and collegial. The weather was as it was, not always optimal. Once again, we were able to experience a fantastic photo trip that fully met our high expectations. The photo guide Peter is an absolute Iceland expert who knows the country like the back of his hand. Iceland in winter is of course a challenge in terms of weather, but we still came home with excellent pictures. As complete beginners, we signed up for the "Golden Autumn" photo trip to Slovenia without any prior knowledge. And on the very first day of our trip, we learned so much technical stuff that we could not have read in a 350-page camera textbook. And so we had a lot more fun, entertainment, delicious food, sporting activities and plenty of breathtaking photo opportunities. Our guides Jenny and Dan are such warm-hearted people who, thanks to their professional and approachable manner, not only created a great balance between us beginners and absolute experts, but also made for one of the best vacation trips we have ever been on.

A great trip to my absolute dream area in southern Africa. Nice people, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful and exciting animal sightings. Walking safaris with safe guides and unimagined photographic opportunities. I will never forget spending an afternoon up close to dozens of elephants at the waterhole. Hannes and Thomas are always on hand to help with camera settings and are also happy to discuss problems in camp. Three different destinations, very different but always with infinitely friendly staff who were happy to fulfil our wishes.

My third trip with Amazing Views in the meantime. As in 2019 and 2023, expectations were exceeded. The bird photography workshop in La Sauge was superbly structured and offered a perfect blend of theory and practical exercises. The workshop guide, Hansruedi Weyrich, was highly competent and conveyed his knowledge in a clear and engaging way. I learned a great deal not only about technique but also about patience and the importance of timing for taking good photos. Exchanging ideas with fellow enthusiasts was inspiring, and the lunch at the restaurant was delicious. My personal (additional) highlight was my first-ever sighting of a black-crowned night heron. It was a fantastic workshop and I am looking forward to putting what I learned into practice in nature as soon as possible.

The photo trip to the lavender fields in Provence was a complete delight. Of course, the lavender fields are fantastic to look at. But photographing them in the best light with Jenny's professional and personal guidance is simply fantastic. We really were always in the right place at the right time. The workshop jumped straight into practical photography in the field, without any theory. I really enjoyed working with the workshop guide, Demian Kobel, and the ranger, Matthias. The ranger led us to the European bison, sharing a wealth of information about these fascinating wild animals and the project, while Demian provided us with technical advice on photography. While the ranger searched for the European bison, Demian offered us tips and suggestions on how to photograph them. On the way to the sunrise, to marvellous stretches of coast and beach, to the lighthouse and pier and to real carpets of bluebells. The delicate spring greenery competed with the bluebells and wild garlic to the delight of our eyes. A wonderfully varied week of photography, which I can only recommend, lies behind me. Jenny and Jack could not have provided us with better support and photography. Jenny was always there to help with technical problems and give suggestions, Jack was a tireless motivator and counsellor.

Thanks to the perfect photo guide with great knowledge of the location and weather, we were always in the right place at the right time and used the changing weather to our advantage. Travelling with Amazing Views and their photo guides is perfect. Not only are we at the photo hotspots at the right time, we also get great professional advice and support. And peace and quiet when the rest of the masses of tourists are out and about. The support was unrivalled. We were in very good and experienced hands with both Hannes and Floyd. Hannes was perfect and had a lot of patience with us. He was happy to pass on his knowledge and it went down well with us. He is a very enthusiastic photographer himself and this rubbed off well on the group. The length of the trip was perfect, there were many new impressions and experiences that I still have to digest, so longer would almost be too much of a good thing. And when you realise that you have taken photos that you probably would not have taken before, what more could you want? Then it's worth overcoming the uneasy feeling when approaching the motifs! I can absolutely recommend this workshop, which helped me to move forward and clearly feel my own comfort zone, but also to go beyond it.

I really enjoyed the course. The theory part was not too long, about 3 hours and very entertaining with lots of tips. The practical part was not too short, we had plenty of time to practise and ask questions. Afterwards, our pictures were discussed again in the group, so I was able to benefit from the feedback once more. I found all three parts very interesting and enjoyed them. Jens took a lot of time and dealt with problems and ambiguities with individuals and groups.

I was able to travel to the south of Botswana with Amazing Views in October 2021. The game reserve in the Tuli Block surprised us with unique sightings. In addition to lions, elephants and a wild cat with its cub, we were able to enjoy several leopard sightings. Playful in the flowering Raintree, having fun with a feather, sneaking up on a prey - nothing was missing. Not forgetting the exciting ‘sessions’ in the Hide. An absolutely extraordinary trip with great impressions of a fantastic Arctic and touching wildlife encounters that we will not forget for a long time. A photography workshop in an animal park might not sound particularly exciting at first glance... But: the mix of theory at the table with Q&A and discussion in a small group – and then practical application right next door with the bears, wolves, lynx, etc. – was perfect for me! My goal for the workshop was not to take perfect photos of wild animals, but rather to better understand and use my camera for wildlife photography. And thanks to Amazing Views, I was able to achieve this goal once again! Many thanks to Thomas & Team!

‘Zimanga in Focus’ scores with numerous highlights: flawless organisation, a comfortable lodge that also has something to offer in terms of cuisine, excellent photographic support from Hannes Lochner and versatile hide sessions and game drives that allow for spectacular images. There is even a good dose of adrenaline (close encounter with cheetahs). However, there is one thing you can not expect: a lot of sleep. Beach holidays are better suited to that... A photo trip that I can recommend to anyone, whether you are a beginner or an ambitious photographer.

The bird photography workshop with Hansruedi Weyrich is very practical. Tips and tricks are presented in an engaging way and can be put into practice immediately. The workshop content is tailored to beginners as well as advanced photographers and the workshop guides are familiar with all brands of cameras. The workshop materials provided are very useful.

The Spitsbergen tour with Amazing Views gave us a close immersion into the wildlife world that I would not have thought possible. When I signed up for this trip I thought, so few days for so much money. That changed completely. Every single day seemed like a fulfilling eternity. It's hard to believe how every sense of time dissolved. We were in this incredibly special world, in Spitsbergen, for a long, long time.

Amazing Views, Nansen Polar Expeditions, Daisy Gilardini and David McEown provided a great experience. Daisy Gilardini, supported by the excellent team from Nansen Polar Expeditions led by Audun and Martin, delivered a unique and unrivalled photographic experience. The MV Villa is a safe ship in ice-filled waters and provides excellent meals every day. Our expedition had no set itinerary - the expedition leader and Daisy consulted daily on the route to give us the best photo opportunities.

Daisy Gilardini is a first class photographer and an excellent photography teacher. She was able to explain some photographic principles to me in a way that I could understand and improve my photos. Her husband, David McEown, is a gifted painter. Daisy and David are two of the most talented and creative tour guides I have ever met and I feel very lucky to have travelled with them.

This was my second trip with Amazing Views and I highly recommend it! Jennifer handled the uncertainty of the lavender being harvested early this season with grace and professionalism. It was a great trip.

The trip on the MV Villa to the fjords of Spitsbergen is unforgettable. Daisy and Dave are great guides and they shared their great knowledge and expertise with us. We were very lucky to have a polar bear family (mother and 2 cubs) share their family life with us for a day. I will also remember the encounters with the other animals (walruses, seals, arctic foxes etc.) and the beautiful landscape. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

I have already done some excellent trips and workshops with Amazing Views. However, the photo expedition to Spitsbergen went one better. We spent 10 intensive days on board the cosy Origo with full professional support - in terms of photography, cuisine and organization. Spitsbergen offers countless wonderful motifs for both wildlife and landscape photographers. The north keeps me under its spell!

After a few months in which my camera lay almost unused in the cupboard, I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Zermatt workshop with Amazing Views. Jennifer and Mel's kind and helpful manner, the spectacular surroundings and the great motifs made this workshop a great experience for me, from which I took away and learnt a lot. I really liked the fact that the workshop was very comprehensive, covering everything from camera settings and the use of filters, landscape photography and night photography to RAW development and image editing. Mel and Jenny were always on hand with an open ear and help and advice. They were intensive and incredibly instructive days in beautiful surroundings, from which I learnt a lot and hope to see you at a workshop again soon.

Zermatt offers the perfect backdrop to showcase the majestic Matterhorn, whether at night framed by a fantastic starry sky or as a reflection in one of the mountain lakes. Thanks to the excellent organisation, you spend the night very close to the photo spots and have relatively short distances - but due to the altitude, you should be in good physical condition. The workshop was also characterised by the small size of the group, which was accompanied by two professional photographers. Thank you for two very impressive days.

The name "Amazing Views" was the program and accurate in every respect. From the announcement and organization of the trip, to the choice of accommodation, the tour guide and the choice of locations, everything was perfect. Of course, the weather and the chosen time of the trip in the fall played a major role. And they went perfectly with the impeccably organized photo tour. The size of the group was very pleasant and allowed everyone to be looked after according to their individual needs. The tour participants' suggestions and wishes were also taken into account. I can recommend a photo tour with Amazing Views to the island of Senja in the fall in every respect, although basic photographic knowledge and a good level of physical fitness are an advantage.

It was my first photo trip to Africa. The diverse - and, thanks to the driving skills of the guides, close-up - encounters in the private game reserve were impressive: leopards, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, jackals, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, monkeys, bee-eaters, eagles, vultures and much more. We also had an excellent photo guide with us in Hannes Lochner, who was able to share a lot of his experiences with us. That makes you want more!

Our polar bear experience in Churchill was incredible. Our photo guide taught us so much and was able to help us take great photos. I enjoyed this trip so much that I am considering travelling back next year. It's worth every penny!

A workshop stands and falls with the instructor. Susanne imparts her knowledge in a relaxed, friendly and professional manner. She takes a lot of time for each participant and is available with help and advice. The afternoon in the forest with the March snowflakes flew by and I simply went home happy. Thanks to Jenny and Cody, despite the bad weather we were always in a place where the sun provided a great lighting mood for a short time. Jenny and Cody are a well-rehearsed team who took care of everything for us so that we could concentrate on taking pictures. This photo trip was top in all respects - the guides, the food, the locations, the group. What more could you want?

It was my first photo trip and definitely not the last! It was an unforgettable experience for me. From the beginning to the end of the trip, we were accompanied by Jenny and Nick, who were always helpful and friendly. I didn't have that much photography experience and was able to learn a lot of new things from them during the week. They were able to pass on their photographic knowledge to me in an understandable way. With their help, I was able to achieve the goals I had set myself before the trip. Our accommodation also left nothing to be desired! In my opinion, the fantastic dinner that we enjoyed every evening deserves a special mention! I find what the three ladies conjured up in the kitchen every day incredible. I looked forward to ending the day with the whole group and good food every evening. My conclusion: It was worth every cent and I would book another trip with Amazing Views in a heartbeat!

Stunning nature and fantastic light showed me the beauty of the Isle of Skye and brought me a lot of joy and satisfaction with the superbly organised trip to the north of Scotland. I never thought I would be able to take such beautiful photos. This is of course thanks to our photo leader Nick, who contributed with a lot of local knowledge and many years of photographic experience. Although it was an intensive few days, I would recommend the trip to anyone.

My fifth trip to the Outer Hebrides with Amazing Views has once again confirmed that the overall package on offer (photo spots, hotel, local guide, a perfect group and, last but not least, Jenny as ‘tour guide’) is hard to beat. Starting with the comprehensive information before the trip, the daily organisation of the photo spots, which were not easy thanks to the local guide, also because of the constantly changing weather conditions, the persistent and always available support from Jenny and Nick, the comfortable and safe transport from the hotel to the photo spots to the hotel itself (ambience and cuisine), this trip is a very special experience.

Those who are not afraid of windy, damp and cool weather will be rewarded with the most spectacular, wild and lonely coastal landscapes in Europe on the Faroe Islands. Bernard, the professional photographer and guide from Ireland who knows the Faroe Islands inside out, and Jenny Brühlmann from Amazing Views are the best guarantee that every participant will take home the maximum number of experiences and great pictures. The fact that fun is not neglected is the icing on the cake.

The bird photography workshop at the BirdLife Nature Centre La Sauge offers a well-balanced mix of theory and practice. Under expert guidance and with lively exchange among other participants, wonderful pictures were taken. I highly recommend this workshop to any photographer interested in birds and nature.

Experiencing Provence with great, like-minded people was a real highlight. The endless, undulating, purple-coloured fields are truly a feast for the eyes and the scent associated with them is simply beguiling. A real benefit for participants is the shared enthusiasm for photography, the trained eye for exceptional motifs and, last but not least, the great commitment of the tour guide, who spares no effort and leaves nothing to chance in order to offer the best that is possible on site. Jenny personally visited the many beautiful lavender locations on the day before our arrival and made it possible for us to photograph the most beautiful fields far and wide at the best time and in the best light. When the ibex appear at precisely the right moment and pose in the perfect light and I have to decide whether to photograph the rainbow against the stunning landscape or the animals, then I know I'm out and about with Amazing Views. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. I greatly appreciated the thoughtful guidance and support from Mel and Jenny. It was clear how important it was to them. This was my first time traveling with Amazing Views. The workshop impressed me from start to finish. The locations were fantastic, the organization was perfect and Jenny and Ralf led the workshop with great professionalism. The early mornings and late nights were more than worth it.

On the Pantanal trip in July 2023, the biodiversity impressed me the most. The jaguars were great, lying in wait for caimans along the rivers and swimming across the river in front of us. Beautiful animals! But also impressive were the giant otters, which even put a jaguar to flight. We also encountered a swimming tapir. The many bird species - kingfishers, herons, giant storks, hawks, cormorants, etc. - always offered great motifs. - offered great motifs again and again. We were competently accompanied by Thomas and Marcos, who shared a lot of his knowledge about the animals with us. Everything was well organised. A rewarding trip!

The Zambia trip in June 2023 was characterized by many great animal encounters and beautiful scenery. I particularly remember a pair of leopard siblings, who were about a year old, playing with each other and I even managed to take a picture of the female sailing over the male. Wonderful! The wonderful morning moods were just as impressive. Antelopes and even lions presented themselves in the ground mist at sunrise! Thomas and Hannes once again took excellent care of us, and the local guides also did a great job. That makes us want more!

The beauty of the Hasli Valley and the Susten Pass is breathtaking. We had goosebump moments photographing the Milky Way in pitch-black darkness, with a stag bellowing nearby. Jenny's engaging theoretical support beforehand and especially on-site was always helpful and encouraging; I learned a lot. The organization, transportation and hotels were simply perfect! It is also fantastic that the program can be adjusted at short notice depending on the weather, ensuring everyone goes home with a wealth of amazing photos. Highly recommended!

The photography workshop was fantastic, with excellent support from Jennifer and Leslie. Everything was top-notch: the accommodation, the breakfast buffets and the relaxed get-togethers. Travelling to North Wales in November is a daring combination. But for a photographer it was a paradise, we had extreme weather but also just as much luck. The capricious weather resulted in great moods and excellent pictures. For me, it was a great and successful trip. Superbly organised and with Jenny and Nick two guides who led us through all situations and to the most beautiful spots. It was nice that we only stayed in one hotel. This made travelling more relaxed as we didn not have to pack again and again. Conclusion: a successful trip, great pictures, pleasant acquaintances.

Besides the more well-known top locations, we also visited some lesser-known hidden gems thanks to our knowledgeable local photo guides :-) The timing of the workshop was perfectly coordinated with the changing color of the larch trees, so – as always with Amazing Views – my expectations were absolutely met and exceeded in every respect. The enchanting Tuscany in late autumn, the picturesque villages and small towns of the region, the unmistakable charm of “Bella Italia” in culture and gastronomy and the perfect organization and support by Amazing Views / Jenny from start to finish. In other words: this photo tour is simply not to be missed. It is a “must” for every photo enthusiast and landscape lover.

Fancy a photo detour to an abandoned slate mine? (A little strenuous, but very interesting.) Or would you prefer a filigree cast-iron pier as a photo subject? (Opened in 1878 and no less than 376 metres long.) Are you interested in windswept lighthouses? Or rather a mighty castle from the 13th century? The very varied photo tour "Wales and Snowdonia" has it all. On top of that, there is a diverse landscape to marvel at, babbling brooks, and, and, and. I really appreciate the fact that I learnt a lot thanks to the always patient and professional photographic support. A big thank you for all the suggestions and tips, especially to Jenny, but also to Nick. Photography is fun!

Everything was perfectly organised on our Lofoten trip. Jenny and Cody looked after us wonderfully throughout the whole trip. Thanks to them both, we got the best out of the most varied weather conditions. As a great bonus, I was able to meet some wonderful new colleagues during the week. To summarise: we had a wonderful time with lots of unique pictures....you guys are amazing.

I was very satisfied and learned a lot in the Basics of Photography Workshop. It was very personal, as we were a small group, which I found very pleasant. There was a good balance between theory and practice. The length of the workshop was also just right. Ralf was a good teacher. I now understand the fundamentals of manual photography as well. It is a fantastic workshop for getting started in photography.

Once again an extraordinary trip with amazing views that is hard to beat - simply amazing! In addition to the many great bear sightings, Jenny had a balanced side program for photography up her sleeve. We received excellent theoretical and practical support and motivation for a whole week. It was a great photo tour in a country that is a little overlooked but offers great scenic opportunities. The guides are very knowledgeable and the places we went to are great. As always, everything is perfectly organized so we only have to focus on taking pictures. Highly recommended.

The trip was well organized and in my opinion we were always in the right place at the right time. The photo spots were great! Different options were sometimes offered so that everyone could choose the right one. I personally really appreciated that. Our photo guides Ralf and Bernard did a great job! They were always helpful and friendly and drove us safely to our destination, even on the long days. I learned a lot again! The accommodation was also very comfortable, nothing to complain about. I loved Ireland and would definitely recommend the trip to others. For me, there will certainly be a next time with Amazing Views!

It was a varied journey that provided impressions of Mayo, Achill Island and Connemara. Imposing coastlines, a lighthouse, lonely fishermen's huts, a pier left to decay, (sandy) beaches, a pretty harbor town, stone walls that divide the land and at the same time give a "face" to the lush green meadows with grazing sheep, to name just a few examples. Incidentally, the weather was a sky blue and there was no shortage of rainbows. Bernard, the man on site, made sure that we were in the right place at the right time: Early in the morning by the mirror-smooth lake or at an exciting spot for the sunset, but also in a nice coffee house with really good coffee. Or in a restaurant with fine food. Thanks to Jenny, Bernard and Felix, I'm no longer at war with gray filters and I've acquired a taste for long exposures. I would never have thought. It's wonderful that you can always count on support. Thank you very much for all the suggestions and tips.

My trip to Ireland, Connemara and Mayo, was my second trip with Amazing Views. This trip was accompanied by Jenny (founder and managing director of Amazing Views) and local photographer Bernard Geraghty. The very harmonious collaboration between the two, their intimate knowledge of the landscapes combined with the local weather conditions and the clear and detailed sharing of their expertise are the basis for a very successful trip. The flawless planning of the journey, local transportation, the choice of hotels and lunch/dinner/coffee spots provide a great recreational value. This trip is unique due to the combination of great photo locations and the insight into Irish culture. I'll be back next year and will bridge the time in between with workshops in Switzerland.

Although I have already traveled to Ireland a few times, the wild west of the Emerald Isle surprised me with more great spots, which were visited at the best time thanks to the very competent tour guides Jenny and Bernard. Nevertheless, the trip is not set up as a hectic drive criss-crossing the county, but also leaves enough time to relax. I also got to know lots of great cafés again :) ...and that's exactly how I imagined my vacation week would be!

This was my fourth time traveling with Amazing Views. We were incredibly lucky with the weather in the Engadine and were able to capture the stunning landscape with its golden larches from the blue hour in the morning until the blue hour in the evening. Jenny and Ralf provided us with very personalized advice, answering all our questions, and our instructors thoughtfully ensured we had hot coffee to keep our fingers warm in the mornings and evenings. It was a fantastic course with lots of new photography ideas and some amazing pictures.

The careful selection of locations/lodges and the extremely knowledgeable and professional local guide made the trip through parts of Botswana a real highlight. The photographer James Clifford knows the places and positions where the animals can be put in the right light and imparts a lot of interesting information about the nature and behavior of the animals in this unique environment. I returned home with many great pictures and numerous unique impressions.

The photo tour to Zimbabwe is magnificent! Unique experiences with wildlife at close quarters are guaranteed in Hwange and Mana Pools National Park. The accommodation is all in great locations and the service in the lodges/camps is excellent. Thomas and Hannes looked after us very well and also gave us lots of photographic tips so that our photos were real highlights. In the free time between the game drives we were also able to benefit from them when editing our photos. Thank you very much!

The landscapes of Switzerland offer a wealth of photographic subjects. Having photographed extensively while traveling abroad, the workshop in the Engadine provided a welcome opportunity to delve into Swiss landscape photography. Although I have many years of experience in photography, there is always something new to learn. In contrast to travel photography, which tends to be driven by fleeting moments, the workshop emphasized a planned approach. Aspects such as shooting location, sun position, time of day and weather were not new to me. However, the consistent implementation of these principles throughout the workshop, both theoretical and practical, heightened my awareness. Furthermore, spending extended time at each shooting location allowed ample opportunity to experiment with filters. Thanks to Jenny and Ralf, the workshop was a great success.

I had a dream; to see and photograph a polar bear in the wild once in my life. So I set out on this adventure with Amazing Views. What I experienced is unsurpassable: accompanying and photographing a polar bear in the Zodic....it was a magical moment that turned into hours!!!! In addition I also had the chance to photograph walruses, sea lions and beautiful landscapes. My big thanks go to Jenny and Daisy for their so benevolent way of accompanying me and to the whole crew of the Virgo. The 10 days went by in a flash and I can only say THANK YOU and my dream came true.

The Outer Hebrides photo trip was my fourth trip with Amazing Views and my expectations were exceeded yet again, especially on this trip. In short, it was an unforgettable photographic experience week with a great and fun group in a time-honoured Highland Lodge with excellent cuisine! Jenny and Nick were always on hand with their photographic knowledge to answer any questions we had. Depending on the weather, time of day and light conditions, Nick took us to wonderful and secluded photo spots. And what I really appreciated: The perfect preparation and follow-up of the photo trips by Amazing Views! Many thanks to Jenny and Nick for the unforgettable week!

We had to wait a long time before we could finally travel to Patagonia. But it was worth it in every respect. What an incredible 10 days we experienced in this unique landscape! Perfectly guided by Thomas Brühlmann, Cristina Harboe and the other local guides, we were able to let off steam photographically. But the highlight was definitely the 3 days of puma tracking. Here we were able to benefit from Rodrigo Moraga's many years of knowledge and photograph the animals at almost arm's length. I would love to go there again right away!

Words cannot describe how wonderful the Amazing Views photo adventure around Svalbard was. Fabulous landscapes, wildlife and adventures where you spend time being present in the moment not caring about anything but capturing a great photograph for memory sake, and breathing in fresh air and phenomenal views. We thoroughly recommend this trip to any photographer, whether amateur or professional.
