During the four-day photo tour in a small group, you can immerse yourself in the many impressions of Amsterdam’s city life and devote yourself fully to photography.

Jens Krauer is a successful street photographer and he will be your photo guide for this tour. He will show you how to read everyday life around safely, discover exciting motives and tell great photographic stories. He looks over your shoulder while you are taking pictures and can give you exactly the tips you need for your perfect photo. Shared experiences and the joy of photography are important for Jens. You will have countless opportunities to try out different techniques and effects.

Day 1 – Arrival

After individual arrival in Amsterdam we meet at the hotel. The photo tour starts with an introduction and a dinner together.

Day 2 to 4 – Photo Workshop

We will explore and photograph the city Center of Amsterdam together. You are actively supervised by Jens. Besides short theory sessions, there is plenty of time for individual photo discussions with Jens.
The common experience, the joy of photography and the personal development are in the foreground. We will have countless opportunities to try out and continuously improve techniques, approaches and subtleties. Thanks to the small group size, the Photo Guide can respond to everyone individually.

Day 5 – Departure

Depending on the weather and flight times there will be possibility for another photo session on a departure day. Afterwards you start your individual journey home or your follow-up program in Amsterdam

Accommodation

Centrally located hotel

Our good middle-class hotel is located in the city centre right next to the train station. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a flat screen TV. The bathrooms have a shower and WC.
You can reach the airport by train in 15 minutes.

Double room

Single travellers can book half of a double room. If there is no other guest who wants to share the room, the single room surcharge will apply.

Entry requirements Netherlands

Swiss, German, and Austrian citizens need a valid identity card or passport to enter the Netherlands. These documents must be valid until the end of the trip.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended that you take an insurance to cover cancellation costs and return travel costs, which in an emergency covers evacuation, a local hospital stay and the cost of returning to Switzerland.
