Since my first trip to southern Africa a good 20 years ago, I have been drawn back there again and again. I was disappointed with my photos from my first trips and started to work intensively with photography. I trained with renowned photographers and gained experience on many trips. I have been a professional photographer and owner of Amazing Views Photo & Adventure Tours since 2016.

Every year I spend 3 – 4 months traveling to the most beautiful national parks and game reserves in the world. My great passion is wildlife photography. I am fascinated by photographing lions in the Kalahari or bears in Alaska. Safaris on foot are also a special experience for me, e.g. in Mana Pools on the tracks of elephants or with the pumas in Patagonia. You get incredibly close to nature. Encounters with animals always fascinate me anew. I love watching them, observing them and photographing them in their natural environment. The pursuit of the image that precisely conveys the essence of the respective situation spurs me on.

I enthusiastically pass on my knowledge and many years of experience in the Amazing Views workshops and on photo tours. We have developed Amazing Views into the leading provider of photo tours in German-speaking countries. We have already successfully organized more than 400 photo tours.

Working with some of the world’s best photographers continues to inspire me. This enables us to regularly offer our guests new and extraordinary photo tours.

As a business economist FH, I held various management positions in the financial sector for 20 years. I have proven expertise in project management and implementation.
