Guide

Nick is a multi-award winning photographer and photography guide with over 13 years’ experience. The experienced photographer has been working with Amazing Views since 2016.

Among his other accolades, Nick was awarded Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2017. He is a native Scot and lives on the Isle of Skye. Nick believes that the Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful places in the world to photograph. Even when he is not out and about with guests, he is often to be found taking photographs in among the natural beauty of Scotland. He knows the Callander region, the Trossachs, the Isle of Skye and the idyllic valley of Glencoe and Rannoch Moor exceptionally well. His strengths include both classic landscape photography and wildlife photography.

Among his many accolades, Nick was a finalist at the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2015 competition. His photographs have been acclaimed in other competitions, such as Take a view – Landscape Photographer of the year.

Nick loves to pass on his knowledge. His guests particularly value his simple and comprehensible training style.
