The street photography workshop with Jens Krauer was an absolute enrichment! Jens is an outstanding photographer and an inspiring teacher who knows how to pass on his passion and knowledge with a lot of patience and humour. I was particularly impressed by his approach of seeing street photography as the art of the moment. We learnt how to capture authentic moments without disturbing the surroundings and how important it is to have an eye for detail and composition. Jens encouraged us to leave our comfort zone and boldly try out new perspectives. The atmosphere in the course was relaxed and motivating, and I learnt a lot from the personal feedback. I can recommend this course to anyone who loves street photography or wants to be inspired by Jens' passion or dares to leave their comfort zone. Thank you so much for this unforgettable day!
Very well organised workshop with an experienced, helpful instructor who gave lots of good tips. He was able to meet the participants' needs and inhibitions. The course location very close to Zurich main station was great.
I already realised that street photography also has to do with people. But the fact that people on the street were at the centre of the workshop was a big challenge for me. Getting up close, taking risks, leaving your comfort zone, making yourself virtually invisible. At the same time, paying attention to the composition and operating the camera correctly. A demanding combination of tasks! But Jens Krauer taught it in an incredibly pleasant and highly competent way and put it into practice out on the street under his guidance. Thanks to the small group, you really get the hang of it. You simply benefit from Jens' experience. And when you realise that you have taken photos that you probably would not have taken before, what more could you want? Then it's worth overcoming the uneasy feeling when approaching the motifs! I can absolutely recommend this workshop, which helped me to move forward and clearly feel my own comfort zone, but also to go beyond it.
I really enjoyed the course. The theory part was not too long, about 3 hours and very entertaining with lots of tips. The practical part was not too short, we had plenty of time to practise and ask questions. Afterwards, our pictures were discussed again in the group, so I was able to benefit from the feedback once more. I found all three parts very interesting and enjoyed them. Jens took a lot of time and dealt with problems and ambiguities with individuals and groups.

The climate in Tokyo in November is mild and pleasant with average temperatures of 12-17 degrees during the day and 7-10 degrees at night. There is less rain in Tokyo in the fall than in the summer months and the humidity is pleasantly low. The fall foliage (Momiji) is a special highlight. This time of year is ideal for street photography in Tokyo.
