The small country in Central America lies between Nicaragua and Panama and is nestled between the Caribbean and Pacific Seas. Costa Rica means “rich coast” and is often referred to as the Switzerland of Central America due to its neutrality. The country is definitely rich in nature and wildlife experiences, it is very diverse and offers a good infrastructure. It is very mountainous and most of the landscape is at an altitude between 900 and 1’800 metres above sea level.
The fauna and flora in Costa Rica is exceptional and extremely diverse. A full 6% of the world’s biodiversity can be found in this small Central American country. The protection of nature and sustainability is therefore of great importance.
Do not miss this special jungle experience in Costa Rica and join us with your camera to the natural beauty of Costa Rica to experience the “Pura Vida”. The tropical country will deeply impress you.

Great and varied photo tour through Namibia with a variety of photo spots and motifs. Brilliant support from Hannes Lochner. He accompanied us professionally and confidently throughout the entire trip and was always present and available for individual support. It could hardly have been better!
My expectations for this trip were very high, as I had already travelled to Namibia three times before as a self-driver. In the end, I flew home with many unforgettable impressions and my expectations were exceeded by far! A perfectly organised trip with great accommodation, scenic highlights and a fascinating animal world (whether Little Five or Big Five) - from the first to the last day. There was a lot of input from Hannes on how to take the perfect photo, so that at the end everyone flew home with successful photos in their luggage. This trip definitely makes you want more! A big thank you to Jenny and Thomas for the great organisation and Hannes for the great support on site. It was great fun travelling with you. The next trip is already planned...
On the Pantanal trip in July 2023, the biodiversity impressed me the most. The jaguars were great, lying in wait for caimans along the rivers and swimming across the river in front of us. Beautiful animals! But also impressive were the giant otters, which even put a jaguar to flight. We also encountered a swimming tapir. The many bird species - kingfishers, herons, giant storks, hawks, cormorants, etc. - always offered great motifs. - offered great motifs again and again. We were competently accompanied by Thomas and Marcos, who shared a lot of his knowledge about the animals with us. Everything was well organised. A rewarding trip!
The careful selection of locations/lodges and the extremely knowledgeable and professional local guide made the trip through parts of Botswana a real highlight. The photographer James Clifford knows the places and positions where the animals can be put in the right light and imparts a lot of interesting information about the nature and behavior of the animals in this unique environment. I returned home with many great pictures and numerous unique impressions.
We had to wait a long time before we could finally travel to Patagonia. But it was worth it in every respect. What an incredible 10 days we experienced in this unique landscape! Perfectly guided by Thomas Brühlmann, Cristina Harboe and the other local guides, we were able to let off steam photographically. But the highlight was definitely the 3 days of puma tracking. Here we were able to benefit from Rodrigo Moraga's many years of knowledge and photograph the animals at almost arm's length. I would love to go there again right away!

We have deliberately chosen May as the travel time to show you Costa Rica at the best time of the Green Season and to guide you through the country away from the tourist crowds. We will definitely have rain on this tour, but rain is part of Costa Rica, because without it the country would not be so incredibly beautiful green. After the rain, the air is always beautifully clear, the waterfalls are impressive and the colours in nature are saturated. Great light moods are guaranteed in May and you will succeed in taking beautiful pictures.
The temperatures in Costa Rica in May range between 15 and 30 degrees, depending on the region. It is the perfect temperature to explore the beauty of Costa Rica without it being too hot or too cold.
The weather is very changeable in September and can even be chilly. Sun, rain and wind alternate. It is best to just let the weather come to you and pack a good mix of clothes.
We recommend breathable functional clothing using the onion principle, which transports sweat to the outside without losing heat and dries quickly.
Also important are well-worn hiking boots with appropriate tread soles. You should definitely pack rain jacket and rain trousers with you.
We will put together the exact daily programme on site at short notice in order to be able to respond to the respective weather and light conditions.
In between, there is always some free time to relax a little, explore the surroundings individually or take part in image discussions and tutorials on request.
You have a good basic level of fitness to be able to take part in shorter hikes to the photo locations. Depending on the weather, we will also hike up to beautiful viewpoints with the photo equipment.
Single travellers can book half of a double room. If there is no other guest who wants to share the room, the single room surcharge will apply.
We strongly advise you to purchase insurance for cancellation and return journey costs, which will be needed in the event of a secluded region being evacuated, a local hospital stay or return travel costs to your home country.
