Landscape Photography Photo Tours

Thank you, Peter Fischer and Amazing Views, for the wonderful days we spent in Provence. The professional guidance and valuable tips on landscape photography - including blending, focus stacking, and HDR - as well as on street photography helped us improve our photography skills. Plus, we were always at great photo spots at just the right time and had plenty of time to set up our equipment and ask questions. We learned a lot, and we will always have fond memories of our trip to Provence.

Seeing the blooming lavender fields of Provence had long been a dream of mine. This tour made it come true. Our photo guide, Peter, brought a wealth of experience and a great sense of humor to the tour, and he always remained in control, even in challenging situations (extreme heat, early lavender harvest). With patience and humor, he led us not only to the most beautiful lavender fields but also to other picturesque towns and scenic highlights of this diverse region. We were even able to photograph the Milky Way at the end of the tour.

It was my first trip to Iceland and I absolutely loved it. The tour was very well organized, and we were able to carry out and achieve all our goals and plans. The hotels were well chosen and impressed in terms of both quality and location. The photo spots were a delight, offering a mix of popular tourist destinations and lesser-known “hidden gems.” Peter Fischer is an excellent photographer and tour guide. It is a lot of fun to have him drive, guide, and instruct you. Peter exudes a sense of calm because he understands the country, photography, and his clients’ wishes so well.

The workshop that pushed me to my limits - and yet I enjoyed every moment of it. What a fantastic area! As always, it was perfectly organized and led, with great participants. And I packed that heavy backpack myself, after all...

My trip to the Dolomites with Amazing Views was: A—adventurous, M—magical, A—breathtaking, Z—enchanting, I—personalized, N—nuanced, G—boundless, V—engaging, I—innovative, E—simple, W—wonderful, S—confident. Even as a complete beginner in photography, I benefited from every single person in the group. There’s no better way to get to know your camera and spark a love for photography. It was an exciting two weeks. I learned a lot and was able to put my new skills into practice again and again, so they really stuck. We discovered and photographed many beautiful spots. It was a pleasant little group, and the group size of six participants was ideal. Peter is a talented photographer who takes wonderful pictures. He shared his knowledge with us, and he made sure we were in the right spots. As a beginner, he always had good tips for me, and I benefited greatly from the experience.

Amazing Views gave me the opportunity to spend a week high up in the Italian Dolomites - with my camera and at world-class locations! I could never have done that on my own, and I loved being part of a group of eight clients and two tour guides. All I had to do was get up before sunrise and follow the group to the most beautiful spots. During the day, there was plenty of time to rest before the whole thing started all over again at dusk. I can’t thank my tour guides and the other photographers enough for a truly amazing week in the mountains, and I would love to travel with this tour operator again someday.

As passionate wildlife photographers, landscape photography was new territory for us - but Amazing Views made it work perfectly. Thomas and Christina are wonderful guides, the group was fantastic, and the pumas left us speechless. The scenery and photo spots in Patagonia are simply breathtaking. And seeing the pumas was the perfect finishing touch. It is a trip we would definitely repeat immediately.

The photo tour to Costa Rica was superbly organized from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the trip to the fullest. The itinerary was varied, exciting, and very educational - every day brought new experiences and fantastic photo opportunities. The eye of the local photo guide was particularly impressive: he spotted even the smallest birds and repeatedly led us to great subjects. The pleasant atmosphere within the group and the professional guidance made the trip an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for all nature and photography enthusiasts!

Costa Rica captivated me from day one! The rainforest, the landscape, the nature, and especially the vibrant birdlife, which could not be more diverse. Unfortunately, the birds are very quick and it takes some practice and patience to get the perfect shot. But thanks to Jenny and Paulo, who were always there when we had questions about camera settings, we were all able to return home with many beautiful pictures and memories. Thank you so much for two incredibly wonderful weeks. I enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back. Muchas gracias Jenny and Paulo – it was amazing!
