Africa Photo Tours

This photo trip was a wonderful experience full of pleasant surprises. Every day brought something new and unexpected. Thomas' excellent support made this safari a relaxing vacation experience. We felt well looked after and cared for at all times in what was for us a foreign environment and culture. I would travel with Amazing Views again in a heartbeat.

We have already taken many trips with Amazing Views. The Masai Mara Explorer trip fits seamlessly into the other trips. Top quality, great guides, everything perfectly organized. This was our first trip to Africa on safari and we are completely thrilled. The two lodges were a dream! The highlight was the safari drives, both in the morning and in the late afternoon. The vehicles are ideal for photographers. The guides are extremely experienced in the needs of photographers. They know exactly where the ideal spot is to get the best angle and, above all, the best light to capture the scene perfectly. The trip preparation and on-site tour guide service provided by Thomas was perfect, as always with Amazing Views. Between safari drives, he took a lot of time to edit pictures with us and give us tips, and even if you needed assistance during the drives, he always had the right tips for camera settings.

The three different destinations in Botswana offered me countless opportunities to improve my photography skills. As always with Amazing Views, everything was perfectly organized. James provided excellent support and could answer any question I had about camera settings or image editing. His vast knowledge of animal behavior is not only very helpful from a photographic point of view, but also inspiring in terms of nature and species conservation.

It was a fantastic trip. As always with Amazing Views, the trip was very well organized and everything went smoothly. The accommodations left nothing to be desired. The mix of night photography in the hide, helicopter flights over the lakes near the lodge, and game drives in Mara North offered plenty of variety. We were also very lucky and had at least one highlight every day in terms of sightings. To top it all off, we even had a successful cheetah hunt. What more could you want! James is a very competent photo guide and was always on hand to help us with technical problems and advice on settings.

Hannes Lochner succeeded in alleviating all my concerns about shooting with high ISO values. The result has me thrilled! It was the first time I had ever photographed from hides. What we saw, experienced, and took home with us on our memory cards surpasses everything. Staying overnight in the hides was a special experience. If at all possible, I would like to go on another trip with Hannes soon. His expertise is enormous and his patience seemingly endless. Thank you very much!

Zimanga highly impressed me with its fantastic reserve, the many animals that you can experience up close (especially elephants), and the wonderful lodge with its warm-hearted staff. The hides were a new and fascinating experience, especially the vultures in the morning. And, as always, everything was under the professional and charming leadership of Hannes. The photo trip was excellent and exceeded my expectations.

As usual, a well-organized trip, excellently guided by Hannes Lochner. Magnificent landscapes with stunning color contrasts. On two evenings, we enjoyed an exquisite dinner outdoors under the impressive starry sky. As announced, the nights were very cool, but with appropriate clothing, it was easy to endure the morning game drives and we were able to enjoy many animal and bird sightings.

Sensational. It was a breathtaking journey with everything your heart could desire. The combination of fantastic landscapes and diverse wildlife was incredible, and all the locations were simply stunning in the right light. In addition, Hannes (not only as a photography expert) and Floyd were a dream team, and we had an incredible amount of fun as a group. I would have loved to stay longer.

The photo trip through Namibia was an absolutely outstanding experience that I will not forget in a hurry. Every single day was a highlight - and somehow it got even better from day to day. Our tour guide and photographer Hannes Lochner was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also a great person. The organization of the trip was perfect - we did not have to worry about anything and could fully concentrate on taking pictures and enjoying ourselves. One thing is certain: this was not my last trip with this team. If you want to experience Namibia intensively and capture it photographically, you have come to the right place!
