Martin Maegli

Martin is a nature photographer from Bern, Martin Mägli works together with Amazing Views since 2020.

Already in my childhood I was fascinated by nature pictures and I could look at and marvel at them for hours. On my 16th birthday I got my first SLR camera and since then, I made smaller and bigger excursions into nature again and again. In the following years I dedicated more and more time to photography and acquired a great deal of knowledge and experience through self-study. 2002 -2014 I worked as a teacher and semi-professional photographer. On numerous journeys since then I was able to get to know many other countries besides Switzerland. In the meantime, I am married and father of three children.

Since 2014 I have been working as a freelance professional photographer. But photography is not only my profession, it is my great passion. As a nature, – and landscape photographer, I have been able to publish numerous reports in well-known magazines such as Alpen, Terra, Schweizer Garten, ethos and Naturfoto. As a big project and a dream of mine I was able to realize in 2006 my first Panorama-Multivision. Meanwhile there are already several productions. Every year hundreds of photos appear in calendars, books and brochures. I have also successfully participated in various national and international photo competitions. In the renowned photo competition “Glanzlichter” some of my pictures have already been awarded. I am a member of the Association of Nature Photographers Switzerland.
